'Plexus installation

Gabriel Dawe's colourful 'Plexus installation.

The construction is made out of thread, wood and nails attached at either end to blocks of wood, the effect is like a real-worldcolour gradient.

Amazing

Sketch book

I decided to no longer use my trusty moleskins and make my own sketchbooks today! After a few times down in book binding I felt that I was able to do a half decent job. Nothing elaborate, just a nice simple sketchbook.

The catalogue

Here are some initial visuals for the current project im working on "the catalogue" the content is based on my previous project for Ian Hartshorne's exhibition catalogue. I plan on taking this content and applying my own filter on this to create my own artists catalogue. the context will change due to the manipulation of content, so it will be nice to see what kind of outcome i come out with, when designing without a client.

Kolektiva

Lookings back at some old work, i found a group project from second year, based around the theme interpretation. I particular like the branding we came up with 'kolektiva'. although the project has been and gone, the brand i feel is going to come back to life sometime soon. long live kolektiva.

Finally got a mock up book for the painting catalogue I am designing for Ian Hartshorne. Design is nearly there, just needs some tweaking.

Check out his paintings, there brilliant!

The Art of The Grid.

Personal Project over the holidays which was based on grid systems within graphic design. I wanted to see how flexible grid systems were and whether or not they influenced the content being presented. I created my own grid system and created 69 different designs based on 6 different quotes. Here are a few of my final outcomes.
